  • ORGANIC BIOCELLULOSE
    Biocellulose is the support of this innovative mask, which not only adapts and adheres perfectly to the skin, but also has distinctive technological properties:
    1. It deeply delivers the active ingredients it is soaked in;
    2. It removes skin impurities.
  • LACTOBIONIC ACID – A disaccharide formed by the combination of gluconic acid, a polyhydroxy acid, and a sugar molecule, galactose. It promotes gentle exfoliation and cell renewal by modulating the keratinization process. When applied to the skin, it tends to form a thin surface film; due to its high molecular weight, it struggles to penetrate the skin compared to smaller alpha-hydroxy acids. At the same time, this slower and more delicate absorption makes it more tolerable for sensitive skin. Additionally, it has antioxidant and soothing properties and stimulates collagen production.
  • GLUCONOLACTONE – Like Lactobionic Acid, it is a polyhydroxy acid. When applied to the skin, it promotes exfoliation by modulating the keratinization process and stimulating skin renewal. Chemically, it consists of a lactone ring, which, through the hydrolytic action of skin moisture, releases gluconic acid, responsible for Nthe activity of the molecule. Gluconolactone has a strong hygroscopic and long-term moisturizing effect due to the presence of numerous hydroxyl groups. It also has good antioxidant properties and helps restore the damaged skin barrier. Unlike more common chemical exfoliants, it is non-irritating and does not induce photosensitization.
  • AZELAIC ACID – It is an acid derived from wheat, barley, or rye. It has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and depigmenting properties. It is used for acne-prone and sensitive skin because it helps improve the skin’s texture and reduce redness. It also reduces excess sebum and works by fighting the bacteria that cause acne, preventing their growth.
  • SALICYLIC ACID – It is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA). It acts as a chemical exfoliant, restoring the balance between the production and elimination of dead skin cells. Additionally, it reduces sebum buildup on the pores, keeping them clean.
  • CYTOBIOL® IRIS A2 – A specific active for oily skin, it is a combination of Florentine iris (Iris Florentina) extract, vitamin A, and zinc. It prevents pore blockage and reduces inflammation caused by bacterial proliferation, improving the skin’s texture and combating the “oily” effect.
  • LOW MOLECULAR WEIGHT HYALURONIC ACID – With a molecular weight ranging from 20 to 50 kDa, it can reach the deeper layers of the epidermis, stimulating the dermo-epidermal junctions and playing a key role in the deep hydration of the skin and cellular cohesion. It reduces roughness and flaking of dry skin. Furthermore, it increases skin firmness by stimulating collagen synthesis.
